I am a nurse by profession, and I am a self-taught artist who has passion for beautiful decorations and tablescapes. I have a discerning eye for design and aesthetics. I started my home décor blog, Susan Can Create, because I wanted to share my love of design and creativity with others. I am not really a DIY’er that paints, glues, sews etc. I do truly admire those people but that is not where my talent lives. What I am good at is finding things in co-op stores, thrift stores, antique stores and online that I can use in my decorations. I mix high end purchases with great finds from other resources to make beautiful floral arrangements, vignettes or tablescapes.
I will be offering quality products at an affordable price because I believe that everyone deserves to have a beautiful home. I will carry a wide variety of home decor products and specialize in holiday and themed decor. I also showcase local artists because I believe in supporting fellow creatives.
